Me and My Senses
A hands-on workshop for 5 - 8 year olds
This fun hands-on workshop investigates the five senses, enabling the children to discover their own 5 senses. It complements the National Curriculum Science Unit 1A "Ourselves".
The workshop is for up to 30 children and lasts around two hours.
During the session you can expect some of the following:
- A whole group introduction
- Investigative activities to explore each sense
- A simple booklet to record what the children have experienced
- A whole group feedback at the end to share discoveries
A certificate will be given to each participant. Information about follow-on activities is provided for teaching staff. |
