Princesses and Knights
A hands-on workshop for 7 - 11 year olds
A fun day of problem solving bringing traditional fairytales into the 21st Century.
We can extend this workshop for a whole themed day, please contact us for further details.
The workshop is designed for 30 children but can accommodate up to 45 in one session. Sessions last for around 2.5 hours.
During the workshop you can expect some of the following:
- A number of separate challenges involving maths, technology and science such as creating a castle for a knight, a trap for an ogre or a coach for the princess from K'Nex.
- Designing the banquet.
- Speedy fairytales!
- Activities that encourage team work and build confidence.
A certificate will be given to each participant and information about follow-on activities is provided for teaching staff. |
