Teddy Bears' Picnic
A practical problem solving workshop for 3 - 7 year olds
In this fun hands-on workshop the children take part in technology based problem solving and enjoy a picnic together. The workshop is based on the popular song "Teddy Bears' Picnic".
We ask that all children bring their own "picnic" as we are unable to cater for special diets.
The workshop is for up to 30 children and their teddy bears and lasts for up to 1.5 hours
During the workshop you can expect some of the following:
- Making a movable card teddy bear to invite their teddy to the picnic.
- Making a picnic basket to hold their food.
- My favourite food activity (counting and recording).
- Designing and making posters and menus
- A group activity involving looking and listening very carefully.
- Eating a picnic together - don't forget to invite some teddy bear friends!
A certificate will be given to each participant and information about follow-on activities is provided for teaching staff. |
