Foundation Stage Science Discovery

"I Can" provides all the information you require to set up your own science discovery boxes. Specifically designed for non-science specialists, each box contains easily obtainable objects (for pennies, at most) that are chosen so as to pique the curiosity of the children, drawing them in to "experiment". We have carried out all the research and planning so that you can set up your own science "discovery play boxes". These give young children regular access to exploratory science activities, allowing them to become great scientists and experience a range of scientific concepts with greater understanding.

The pack can be bought on its own; however we would strongly suggest that you gather a few colleagues together for an INSET training session.

What is in each box?
Each box contains easily obtainable objects for little or no money that are chosen so as to pique the curiosity of the children, drawing them in to experiment.

How much effort is required?
Once the boxes are established they need very little maintenance. The boxes are put out one per day as an interactive display for the children to explore freely and with minimal supervision.
