CRB Checks

We are registered with CRB as an umbrella organisation which means that we can do CRB checks for various organisations whether they use volunteers or not - a fee is payable for all non-volunteer checks which includes the CRB fee and an administration fee. Please contact us should you require a CRB check.

Organisations and CRB Checks (ISA/VBS registartions)

We can do CRB checks and any subsequent ISA/VBS registrations for your organisation. We require that the Identity checker goes through the CRB registration process with us and receives training in how to do the identity checking, with continuous support as required, enabling someone in your organisation to do the preliminary process and supply documents in support of the individuals applications. Obviously, we request that each identity checker signs an agreement with create a future.  All checks are then processed through the main create a future office with copies of clearences supplied to your organisation. Please contact us if you would like to take advantage of this service.

Volunteers

create a future, via Setpoint Mercia, managed the Science and Engineering Ambassadors (SEAs) programme for the West Midlands (Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country) area until 1st August 2008.

create a future will continue to manage a volunteer programme to promote science, technology, engineering and maths by providing enthusiastic, trained volunteers to work with young people and teachers in schools. As we are no longer limited to STEM volunteers, we can register any volunteers who give up their time and effort to help schools on an unpaid basis (reasonable expenses are fine but any recompense for your time/work means we cannot register you as a volunteer and you must pay for any CRB checks).

If you would like to volunteer to work with children, or you are a school who would like volunteers to work with your children, please do call us on 0121 4144318 or email us.

Register of Volunteer Work

Please notify us of any work that you have done in schools, it helps keep us in line with our insurers.

Please complete the online form and email it or print it off and fax/sent it to us.
